Colin, I feel similarly about Java and Lisp. Also felt the same way about C++ as I do about Java. For most of the last 3 decades MUMPS has been my bread and butter, but more and more I'm ready for a new challenge and it does seem like Lisp/Scheme/Clojure could be it. It will be interesting if you can learn and use Clojure without learning and using at least a bit of Java. Good luck.Steve Graham
