Patchwork-pate: Patchwork Traditional Food Company invests in Riggs packaging efficiency

The Patchwork Traditional Food Company, a producer of handmade foods from the Welsh countryside, is investing in its pâtés and accompaniments production lines.New packaging equipment is being supplied by Lancashire-based food depositor and filling specialist Riggs Autopack.When fully installed, the machinery will enable the Patchwork production teams to pack their pâtés at three times the current rate, boosting efficiency at the Ruthin factory."This purpose-built packing line will improve the linear flow in the production hall and streamline the packaging process," said Patchwork founder Margaret Carter.
