I've been asked a number of times over the last 6 months or so about "doorway pages", mostly by people who have them but don't realise it. Largely they don't realise because they don't understand what they are and what the implications are of using them. Doorway pages (sometimes mistakingly referred to as landing pages) are simply spammy pages where the content is pretty much similar for different parts of your website.
