Frito-Lay: Frito-Lay Launches Fiber Chips: New Flavors Include Toffee Sea Salt and Spicy Jalapeo

Snack giant Frito-Lay is introducing a brand-new line of chips to its product offerings. The major manufacturer-known for producing Lay's, Doritos , Tostitos, Cheetos, Ruffles, Fritos, and more-is entering a new space, capitalizing on a buzzy food trend with its latest move: fiber. The company is debuting new varieties in two of its iconic chip brands, Smartfood Fiber Pop and Sun Chips Fiber , with the popcorn "launching soon" in Toffee & Sea Salt and Sweet & Salty flavors. Meanwhile, the multigrain option is being released in Southwestern Queso and Spicy Jalapeño flavors. The news was announced in an Instagram post on Tuesay, Feb. 10 by food blog @candyhunting. The Smartfood Fiber Pop has 6g of fiber per serving, and Sun Chips Fiber, 3g of fiber per serving, according to the snack insider's social media caption.
