With only a few days to go (the 7th Beer & Cider Festival starts on Friday 29th July until Sunday 31st July), we thought we should give you a little taster of some of the beers and ciders being showcased at the Beer Festival. Swan Brewery - Cygneture Ale - ABV 3.6% - Colour Chestnut Is a flavoursome chestnut ale at 3.6%. Admiral and Goldings are added in the copper. It's also dry hopped in the fermentation vessel with Target and Goldings. Ludlow Brewing Co - Stairway - ABV 5.0% Colour Gold Brewed with extra pale marris otter malt Hopped with extremely rare sladek lager hops Winner of Ludlow Food Festival 2011 Monty's Brewery - Masquerade - ABV 4.6% Colour Golden A golden ale with tropical fruit flavours and the distinctive aroma of citra hops. Winner of SIBA regional winner 2014. Wales first gluten free beer! Hobsons Brewery - Twisted spire - ABV 3.6% Colour Golden straw Hobsons Twisted Spire is a beer with all round appeal. It's a quenching low gravity beer with a nice bitterness in flavour and refreshing bursts of hop flavour which lingers through to a crisp dry finish. Oldfields cider ABV 4.8% Crisp, refreshing and gently sparkling. Golden and clear Fruity and clean with a crisp finish. Marches Cyder - Sweet Fanny Adams - Medium Still Perry 6.5% half/pint Plus a whole range of cocktails, wines, soft drinks, food, entertainments ... and so much more! Tickets are £10 entry for over 18's and last for the whole weekend.
