Orinoco Systems Blog VMware ESXi5 Lab Setup - Part 11 iSCSI multipathing Section A

Bonos díes... and welcome to my ongoing blog on VMware ESXi5. Again this subject is going to be broken down into parts. In this blog we will be creating 2 standard vSwitches for iSCSI traffic. We need to create two iSCSI switches, so that we can take advantage of multi-pathing for iSCSI traffic. This is done because ESXi5 does not support having two nics on the same path that the traffic is using. We will start off by logging into the vSphere Client. Then go to Home/Inventory/Hosts and Clusters. Next we will click on the Configuration tab and then click on the Networking Link. This will bring us to the standard vSwitch networking section. We are looking at INCP-ESXi2-VM instead of INCP-ESXi1-VM in this example. In order to get vCenter running on ESXi1 I had to do all of the networking in advance. I am now going to use this as an opportunity to show how it was done.
