Origin Digital: Origin Digital Listed in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50

Origin Digital has become one of the newest entries into the 2017 Deloitte Technology Fast 50, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over four years. Jerry Staple, Origin Digitals’ Technical Director, credits a focus on a clear growth strategy and winning a number of larger projects and longer-term contracts with the company’s growth over the past four years. He said, "We have had a very clear business strategy that we have been working to achieve over the last few years. As a result of this focus we have won a number of large projects which has contributed to our growth, so being listed this year is a testament to the hard work that the whole team at Origin has put in." The awards, now in their 18th year, rank Ireland’s fastest growing technology companies and recognises indigenous technology companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth in turnover in the last four years. The Fast 50 programme is recognised as a barometer of a company’s success and provides it with a hugely valued, respected and marketable, public ‘badge of honour’. Cumulatively, the 2017 Fast 50 winners generated approximately €858 million in total annual revenues in 2016. The average revenue of companies featuring on the ranking was approximately €17 million, while the average growth rate of the companies over the last four years was 290%.
