Opennotion Blog OpenNotion Beta Release!

It comes with great pleasure for me to officially announce the release of OpenNotion Beta. The Beta is now available for download from our website. Before downloading, please take the time to read these important notes.InstallationTo install OpenNotion Beta, upload all files in the downloadable archive (in the upload directory) to the root of your domain or sub-domain. Once you've done this, navigate your browser to "desired-installation-location/index.php/install" and the installer will now be visible. Simply follow the on-screen instructions for there onwards. If you encounter an error when browsing to the installer then please enter your database details in the app/config/database.php file. You may also need to enter your mail configuration details in app/config/mail.php. The installer should then run correctly, this is a temporary measure and we shall have this issue fixed for 1.0.BugsLike with the Alpha version, there are bound to be a few bugs in this Beta. Our SQA team have taken a few extra days of testing, but this is still a development version of the final product. If you believe you have came across a bug, please submit it on our development tracker.Any security vulnerabilities should not be posted on our development tracker, but rather in the private inquiries forum.Due to these possibilities, we recommend not to use this Beta on a production website.1.0.0 and SupportNow that we've released the Beta, work on 1.0.0 is well underway. We encourage any feedback or suggestions from our users. Please submit them on our ideas website. Your forum login will work with the ideas site login. As always, if you need any support; please use the support forum where our team and other users will be happy to assist you.OpenNotion Beta Release! written by Conor C. in Releases.Tags: Beta, Release.
