Every year, the New York City Coalition Against Hunger releases a comprehensive report on hunger in the city. The report draws from two sets of data, the first is the USDA Food Insecurity Data for state and he city , and the second is data which we collect from soup kitchens and food pantries throughout New York City. This year's report focused on the working hungry, and analyzed data on how many food insecure households had at least one working adult. It also breaks down the hunger data by Borough, to give a comprehensive view on child, senior, and household hunger across New York City and New York State.
