Minnesota-based pet food manufacturer Tuffy's Pet Foods Inc. this week broke ground on a $60 million, 170,000-square-foot plant in Delano. The company, whose brands include NutriSource, Pure Vita and Natural Planet, said in a statement that the facility, located at 141 McKinley Parkway, will be able to produce 9,000 pounds of pet treats per hour after it opens in November 2020.
