The Accessible Cycle Design Challenge (ACDC) was NOWPDP's mobility initiative for persons with physical impairments. The aim was to involve Pakistan's youth primarily from engineering and architectural universities across the country to come up with an innovative design that not only allows them to solve the design defects in the existing tricycle but also apply their knowledge to solving a social problem. Registration deadline was 15th February 2016 and design submission - 31st March 2016. Winner was judged by a prestigious national and international jury, wins PKR. 200,000 and remained involved with NOWPDP in next phase of prototype development.
