"In an increasing market uncertainty, we continue to advance our positions. In the first quarter, we report a good order intake in three of four divisions, new investments in operational efficiency, increased presence in structurally growing industries and a new smaller but strategically important acquisition," writes CEO Sven Kristensson in the report. At the same time, Kristensson highlights risks related to willingness to invest and increased protectionism in the uncertain macro environment. Despite this, the company considers its long-term prospects to remain good, with a strong order book and investments in product development. "However, Nederman is in a strong position, not least in terms of a good order book, investments in product development and the ability to increase its presence in structurally growing industries. In addition, the current situation gives us increased opportunities to strengthen market shares. Despite uncertainty about developments over the next few quarters, we are convinced of continued good long-term prospects for our industry, and for us as the market leader," he concludes his statement.
