This live webinar co-hosted by Environmental Express was originally presented on June 14th at 11:00am EST and is available on-demand to watch at your convenience. Learn about the enzymatic nitrate testing method used in laboratories and beyond. The enzyme nitrate reductase replaces cadmium in the nitrate reduction step used before the Griess reaction for accurate nitrate quantification in various complex sample matrices. Enzymes are benign for lab personnel handling and non-hazardous for hassle-free shipping and disposal. Small reaction volumes mean high sensitivity and low detection limits. This enzymatic method has been recommended for EPA CWA 40 CFR Part 136 reporting and has been included in the Federal Register, published February 2015. The promulgation of the final version of the Methods Update Rule is anticipated before the beginning of the 2017 calendar year. We're proud to begin offering our enzymes and test kits through a new partnership with Environmental Express, a Cole-Parmer company.
