In addition to looking at NavPort's data directly in the analytics platform, NavPort provides the ability to either export or connect directly to our system, and use our data in a separate business intelligence tool. One example we often see is customers who work within Spotfire® and prefer to use our data in conjunction with dashboards that they have already created. To showcase this aspect, we created the following Spotfire® dashboard from an export of Texas approved permit data from NavPort. The map shows permits by approved date, with many of the newest approved permits (red) falling in the Permian Basin. To the right of the map, we can see that 56% of the permits since 2015 have been approved for horizontal wells. The lower bar chart shows a breakout of all approved permits by their Current Well Status, which is a system-calculated field that allows a user to see if the well has already been completed and is producing or if it is still in the permit stage. Over 80% of the wells from December 2016 and January 2017 are still permits, with that number dropping to 53% in November 2016. Source: RSEG and Spotfire® Filtering down to horizontal permits, we see a focus in the Midland and Delaware Basins as well as in the Eagle Ford region. Notably, the breakout of wells by Current Well Status remains steady.
