In a world of increased reliance on technology, bandwidth has become as important to businesses as electricity and running water. And just like electricity, Internet service has become relatively commoditized. In this day and age, everyone and their grandma has some sort of Internet access (including my grandma who has recently become a professional pinterest-er at the age of 73.) Just because it's a commodity, though, doesn't mean that all Internet access service is created equally. There are two main types of Internet access: broadband and dedicated access.
