MXToolBox: J2 Global goes shopping deep in the heart of Texas

Offers.com and MX Toolbox, two Austin, Texas, tech companies focusing on different sides of the digital consumer experience, have been acquired by Los Angeles' J2 Global Inc. Deals site Offers.com was purchased by Ziff Davis Media Inc., the digital publishing subsidiary of publicly traded J2 (Nasdaq: JCOM), and MX Toolbox was snatched up alongside a slew of other Web service firms.
