Here at Mocks we have been encouraging you to get out and enjoy try new things with our Whats Your Adventure campaign! Keen to take our own advice, we recently packed our Mocks and went on an adventure of our own, to Bounce Below, a very exciting new activity in Snowdonia, Wales.Having driven through the beautiful Welsh countryside we arrived at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, the home of Bounce Below. This is an 176-year old disused cavern complete with two vast chambers installed with bouncy net like trampolines, and the only facility of its kind in the World!Before arriving at the trampolines we accessorised with a Helmet and all piled into a small mine train, which took us slowly into the heart of the cave, 100 feet below the surface of the Earth.Once we had put slipped our feet into a pair of strange shoe nets, to protect our Mocks from the ropes and stop us from slipping around, we were ready to bounce!As soon as we stepped onto the ropes we knew that this was no ordinary trampoline! With so many other people on the nets, it was almost impossible to stand still and we had great fun trying to 'out bounce' each other!The ropes fill the cavern, providing different levels, tunnels and ladders to explore and are suspended in the cave so that you can see rocks and bouncers in every direction! After falling over and bumping into each other several times, we were grateful for the helmets!This is not only great fun, and a brilliant adventure, it's also a great way to avoid the unpredictable Welsh weather, as it is open all year round.We were glad to be wearing our comfy Canvas Mocks (Men's and Women's available) which were perfect for bouncing around in because of their light material, elasticated sides and flexible soles!We'd love to hear what Winter adventures you'd recommend?
