We did several improvements to our mobile view builder. Below you'll find short overview on the changes done. There is a new tab "Widgets" which can be used to add new widgets to layout using drag and drop (works in Chrome and Firefox) or by selecting widget and clicking "Add Widget" button.Green message in the mobile view appears if widget failed to get content by XPath parameters or its content is empty. In order to distinguish typical html content with the applied widgets or filters in the mobile view, another color is used for selection. Selection for widgets and filters now has quick shortcuts for alignment settings (left, center, right). There is an ability to edit content for widgets and filters. Select widget or filter in the mobile view by right clicking and choose "Edit content" in the context menu.Alternatively you may open widget or filter properties and click "Edit" button of "Content" property. When editing content the Content Editor appears in the left frame. You may add/edit/delete elements, drag and drop list items to change their order and so on.Please note that after editing the content becomes static, which is not in sync with the desktop website content. Now you may add new widget and fill it in with the content from scratch. And vice versa, operated by XPath parameters and linked with the source html code dynamic content is always in sync with the desktop website. The current status of the content, whether it's "static" or "dynamic" is shown in the widget or filter properties. Content editing is available for all new websites created from April 2nd, 2012.There is no "Form (brutal)", "Form (brutal, compact)" and "Form (custom)" anymore. Only one "Form" widget is used instead. It's editable. If you want to customize forms by applying filters it's still possible. No need to add "Form (custom)" since it's applied automatically for all forms by default. In the website Settings there is a new option to show "Add to Home Screen" popup.Another new option in Settings is "Apple Touch Icon". You may use existing touch icon linked to the desktop website or upload custom icon. One more minor update is the address bar in iOS and Android browsers is hidden by default after page loading. For our self-hosted resellers we've created control panel to easily maintain MobilizeToday Engine software installed on their own server.
