Mitchel and Scott: Indy Machining Plant Closing, Jobs to be Eliminated

Indianapolis-based Mitchel and Scott Machine Co. has announced it will be permanently closing two machining facilities and laying off more than 140 workers this fall. In a WARN notice to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the company says 137 positions at its Indianapolis site and six in Tennessee will be eliminated and the facilities will close on October 25.
