Staff reportTULSAMid-Con delays reportMid-Con Energy Partners announced Tuesday it won't file a first-quarter 2020 earnings report likely until late June because of business disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic.Using authority granted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in an order it issued March 25, the company said it expects to file its report no later than June 29.The company said the pandemic reduced the availability of key personnel it needs to prepare its quarterly report.It also modified its business practices so employees could work remotely."These restrictions have slowed the preparation and review" of the report, officials stated in a release issued after markets closed.Mid-Con also updated risk factors it will use in the report, including that pandemic-related disruptions negatively affected the energy industry and the company's operational results and financial condition."The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in unprecedented challenges to the oil and gas industry in general and to us in particular," its release reads."The full effect on our business and operations is currently unknown.Read more on NewsOK.com
