Micro Systems: 'I think this is going to be a hard train to stop now' — what an Oracle buyout means for Micros

On the matter of Micro Systems Inc. and its likely new parent, Oracle Corp., Alan Hayman is upbeat. Columbia-based Micros provides point-of-sale (POS) hardware and software for restaurants, retailers, hotels and other customers. Hayman, a former Micros executive vice president, ran U.S. operations for the restaurant side of the business between 2000 and 2006.
