MESA: Manager at Mesa medical device maker pleads guilty in embezzlement case

The former office manager of a Mesa company that makes medical ultrasound devices has pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion and admitted she embezzled $1.7 million between 2008 and 2012. Deanna Kay Frader entered the guilty plea yesterday in U.S. District Court in Phoenix. She embezzled the money from Ardent Sound LLC between February 2008 and January 2012.
