Subject: Update New Defect Affecting Counts on Snapshot Reports; Dec. 2 Certification Deadline will be Adjusted Dear LEAs, The defect described in the email below has been resolved and all LEAs have new snapshot revisions. The certification deadline will be moved beyond December 2 (new date not yet determined). A new message will be sent when the deadline has been identified. This new problem is a top priority for the CALPADS team, and we will communicate to the field once this problem has been fixed. We are aware that this is hindering LEAs' ability to make progress on their Fall 1 certification. The December 2 certification deadline for Fall 1 will be adjusted. The certification deadline will be moved beyond December 2 (new date not yet determined). The new deadline date will be determined once the problem has been fixed, and the new date will allow LEAs adequate time to complete Fall 1 data submission. Snapshot revisions will continue to run, but note that the results can be unreliable. In the interim, LEAs can use the ODS reports for preliminary counts.
