Macmillan Education India partnered with Havells India to launch a Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programme, 'Ek Kadam Swachhata Ki Aur' across 100 local schools in the Alwar district of Rajasthan. The programme will include Teacher workshops on Hygiene practices and use of customized print resources for school children. The launch event attended by school Principals and local civil administration, was held in Alwar with Sh. Muktanand Agarwal (DM, Alwar District) as the Chief Guest. Calling the project an inspiration for community development, Mr. Aggarwal hailed the efforts of Havells and Macmillan Education in bringing about a change of attitude towards health and sanitation.
