m2filmproductions.comLauren and Spencer have such a sweetness and warmth to their relationship, and everyone around them could feel it on their most special day!The ceremony and reception were both held at the Historic Wakefield Barn, a beautifully restored 1930's farm located in Wake Forest, North Carolina. The property is breathtaking with rolling pastures, gorgeous horse stables, and a magnificent barn that made the perfect backdrop for the rustic-elegant design of the wedding. With summer weather and some incredible vendors under the expert direction of Chad Biggs Event Planning & Design, it was one for the books.Leading up to the ceremony, Lauren and Spencer exchanged heartfelt letters and then had their first look inside the barn where they would be tying the knot later on. A moment filled with smiles and laughter, you could just tell the amount of fun these two have together! The ceremony followed with Lauren and Spencer exchanging their vows and lighting the unity candle, symbolizing their commitment and union in Christ. Their pastor also gave an excellent sermon on marriage, filled with stories of his personal connection to the couple and sound scriptural advice. After their lovely ceremony, guests moved downstairs to the stable area for cocktails while the barn room upstairs was flipped for the reception.Following cocktail hour, everyone made their way upstairs where they witnessed one of our all time favorite first dances ever! Lauren and Spencer switched up their slow dance into a choreographed swing dance routine set to Sam Cooke's "What a Wonderful World". By the end, everyone was clapping and cheering, and then proceeded to move to the floor themselves to dance the night away as these two hearts and two families became one. That was probably our most favorite thing about this wedding... how Lauren and Spencer made it all about having an amazing day with their friends and family. They wanted everyone celebrating with them to have the best time, and we're quite certain they did!Lauren and Spencer, the atmosphere on your day was just filled with laughter and happiness and we hope it shines through in your film!
