LPM: Louisville Public Media claims $5M bid for WNKU station was rejected

Louisville Public Media claims that a $5 million offer to purchase the last remaining frequency broadcasting independent music station WNKU was rejected by Northern Kentucky University. In a letter addressed to "friends of WNKU," Louisville Public Media president Michael Skoler wrote that his organization offered $3.5 million in cash and $1.5 million in services to purchase 105.9 WNKN-FM (105.9 MHz), the final remaining frequency owned by NKU.
