CHARLOTTE, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) - The Salvation Army in Charlotte is teaming up with a furniture company to help people recovering from addiction. The Charlotte La-Z-Boy store delivered a tractor-trailer filled with 60 pieces of gently used furniture to the Salvation Army's adult rehab center. The facility helps rehabilitate people who have struggled with addiction. The center's goal is to help people build lasting stability, regain independence, and be able to reenter the community.
