Why drain your pool?Water is a chemical compound with a chemical formula that almost all of us know, H2O. When we turn on our faucet or fill up our swimming pool, the water that we get is made up of several compounds, including H2O. It is said that our tap water can contain over 2000 different components other than H2O. Those components include nitrates, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium; the list goes on and on. Some of these compounds are referred to as Total Dissolved solids or TDS.
