I completed a 4-day intensive calligraphy workshop with Julian Waters through Chicago Calligraphy Collective. It was a joy to learn the blackletter styles of textura and fraktur. I much prefer the Fraktur because of the movement and the contrast of strokes, where textura is more rigid and upright with strong verticals.
