(Alliance News) - UniCredit Spa and Kepler Cheuvreux Solutions announced on Wednesday that they have launched "KC Tematica" certificates based on Kepler Cheuvreux research, a new range of investment solutions for the Italian retail market. Listed on the Italian Stock Exchange, these certificates offer exposure to the independent views of Kepler Cheuvreux, a European leader in equity research. The initiative stems from the strategic partnership between UniCredit, a minority shareholder in Kepler Cheuvreux since 2011, and aims to offer added value to retail investors. The range will be developed jointly by Kepler Cheuvreux Solutions and UniCredit, one of the leading issuers on the Italian market. Kepler Cheuvreux's research combines two approaches: Top-down, focused on tactical and long-term themes; and Bottom-up, based on the research of the group's 130 analysts, covering over 1,000 stocks in Europe. The first three issues focus on the themes of Ukraine's reconstruction, Italian excellence, and Italian infrastructure, through Low Barrier Cash Collect Worst of Autocallable certificates on baskets of shares tradable from May 9 on the SeDeX market of the Italian Stock Exchange. The certificates offer a 50% protection barrier on the initial value and quarterly conditional premiums with memory effect if the worst performing security in the basket is above the barrier. From next November, early redemption is planned under the same conditions as the initial value. At final maturity on May 30, 2030, if the worst-performing security in the basket is above the barrier, the certificate will redeem the principal amount of EUR100 plus accrued premiums. Otherwise, the amount redeemed will reflect the negative performance of the worst-performing security, with no capital protection. UniCredit shares are up 0.9% at EUR55.71 per share.
