United Way of Paducah-McCracken County is working towards advancing the common good. Local residents, non-profits, and businesses are collaborating to pinpoint our community's most prevalent barriers and establishing community wide-outcomes to overcome these barriers. The United Way is focusing on coordination of community sectors not just supporting individual entities. This is true Community Impact. Refining our focus areas to EDUCATION, INCOME and HEALTH, which are the building blocks of life, allows us to address root causes not just symptoms of problems. In response to the voices of our donors and community partners the United Way plans to be more intentional in making strategic investments and partnerships that support community-wide outcomes.
