Jellatech: JellaTech hits tech milestone with production of cell-cultured type 1 collagen

Raleigh-based startup Jellatech has hit a key milestone with the development of a full length, triple helical and functional native collagen (type 1) produced by its proprietary cell lines, which will initially be targeted at the biopharma and biomedical markets, but could be directed at cosmetics, nutrition and food markets down the line.
