Well with the weather forecast in our favour it`s all systems go for Jedforest hunt Point-To-Point on Sunday 22nd January at Friars Haugh Kelso ,there are a total of 66 entries. The Jedforest Hunt have 10 horses entered at this stage and hopefully they will all run on the day ,the ground is currently soft and is expected to be no worse than soft .The first race is 12.30 with Bar and Food facilities available throughout the day.Fight away boys is entered in the BH Club Members Race for Caroline Crow with Gillan Crow jocked up,this one along with Viacometti for Karen and Kenny Lynn may run in this, both horses also hold an entry in the Intermediate Race ,also entered in the BH club race is The Ice factor for Allison and Gavin Hamilton along with Oscar Stanley for Di Walton who also hold an entry in the Ladies open, daughter Joanna will do this steering on this one,the mother and Daughter team also have Carters Rest entered in the Ladies open .Another Jed horse with a double entry is Sorcier for Phillipa Shirley- Bevan this 11 year old unseated at Alnwick in December and holds an entry in the Ladies open and the restricted race . The ultra consistent Cave Hunter in the hands of Tom Hamilton for his mum Wendy will hopefully take his chance in the Men`s open race which has attracted 13 entries at this stage ,Wayupinthesky for Allison and Gavin Hamilton is also entered in this race. The Final race of the day is the Open Maiden race with an off time of 3.30p.m. 2 Jed horses entered here ,Towerburn will complete a busy day for Allison Hamilton and Pickle and Tickle in the hands of the in form Ryan Nichol who is booked by young trainer Gary Rutherford both horses ran at Alnwick and will surely come on for the run that day.
