IoTivity 1.3.1 is the first fully certifiable release since the merger between the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) and the AllSeen Alliance. Devices built upon this release can be certified in any of eight OCF Authorized Certification labs and indeed, some have already achieved this milestone. This IoTivity release also fully implements the mandatory OCF security features for Device Onboarding and Access Control.
At CES in January, the OCF booth will host recently certified devices and show OCF interfacing other popular IoT ecosystems and applying to usage models beyond the home. There will also be an OCF Developer Kit area where those new to OCF and IoTivity can learn how to get started.
