I Riderta: Greater Dayton RTA secures $5.7M to replace old buses

Dayton's bus fleet is getting an upgrade thanks to new funding from the federal government. The Federal Transit Administration has awarded the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority with a $5.7 million grant to procure five new buses. The 40-foot vehicles will be heavy duty, dual mode all-electric models that will replace older buses with high mileage.
