HYPERLABS Blog Signal Path Analyzers provide a new class of test and measurement capabilities

We've always had some trouble describing our HL2200 Series and HL5200 Series of test instruments: they're not just TDRs, nor are they just cable testers. But with the introduction of our new S11/S21 capabilities, we had to find a new way of talking about these devices. With that, HYPERLABS is pleased to announce a whole new type of test instrument: the Signal Path Analyzer .These instruments provide a unique feature set designed specifically for testing the signal path in high-speed interconnects, cable assemblies, and PCB traces. It takes measurements in both the time domain (TDR, TDT, NEXT, FEXT) and the frequency domain (S11/S21).Like all other HYPERLABS instruments, our Signal Path Analyzers are powered and controlled via USB, and include lifetime upgrades on our powerful XTDR software. Most importantly, Signal Path Analyzers provide significant cost savings over other systems. By offering the features of a powerful TDR/TDT instrument, as well as the most commonly used S-parameters, these low-cost instruments do the work of far more expensive equipment.Want to learn more?
