Originally Omega created the Dynamic for the Prix de Ville. Three years later in 1968 the public got their first glimpse of the Omega Dynamic. Omega had designed the case shape to be ergonomic to the anatomy of the wrist. The case shape was oval in shape and to ensure that the aerodynamic flow of the watch was not disrupted they integrated the crown into the case.
