Well summer has arrived and the fish have been HUNGRY! Here is a list of what has been HOT:King Mackerel - GREAT. Best method has been flat lining live baits 30-40 feet from boat while drifting or while bottom fishing.Mangrove Snapper - GREAT. We have been seeing record amounts of Mangroves this year and are averaging double digit numbers on 6 hour or more trips.Red Snapper - GOOD. Although the number are down from last year, we believe they are still offshore. We are averaging 6-8 red snapper per trip.Amberjack - GREAT. The AJ's have been hungry everyday. Only slowing down on a full moon. Top water AJ this season has been on fire!Cobia - GOOD. We are still catching resident cobia about every 4th trip on the reefs. Always nice to see!Mahi - FAIR. Although we have caught several, we are not seeing numbers like last year just yet. It won't be long!
