Genetec: Genetec Integrates Cloudrunner with Saferwatch to Enhance Vehicle-Based Public Safety Efforts

Genetec has announced the integration of its AutoVu Cloudrunner vehicle investigation system with the Saferwatch real-time alerting platform, initially developed for the Hawaii Department of Law Enforcement. This collaboration combines Cloudrunner's automated vehicle detection capabilities with Saferwatch's communication tools, enabling faster, more coordinated responses to incidents involving vehicles of interest. The initiative addresses the need for enhanced situational awareness and inter-agency communication. Law enforcement can now receive instant alerts when a flagged vehicle is detected, with detailed information including license plates, vehicle characteristics, and related case data delivered through Saferwatch. Beyond police use, the integration benefits schools, hospitals, and public venues, allowing users to report suspicious vehicles and receive real-time alerts. Citizens can also participate by submitting tips through the free Saferwatch app, improving community engagement and transparency. The integrated solution is now available across North America to customers using both platforms.
