According to sources from the Doctor Who show Peter Capaldi is on course to possible be one of the best Doctor's ever. It looks like they have either finished 5 episodes or is almost done with the fifth episode so BBC and members of the show staff are getting a good idea of how its working out. With that in mind I believe the insight is very accurate and we can all look forward to a great Doctor and great season of Doctor Who.BBC has intentionally started the story lines over so that Peter has a clean slate and the show is giving very few to no references to earlier story lines and predecessors.
