Galen Robotics, the surgical robotics and Digital-Surgery-as-a-Service pioneer, has promoted David Levi to head of hardware development for its Microsurgical Robots designed to break rising hospital costs critical during the worldwide pandemic. Mr. Levi started at Galen as a hardware intern while completing his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Johns Hopkins’ Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics (LCSR) headed by father of surgical robotics, Dr. Russell Taylor.
