I have always wanted to make a T-shirt that reads "Leggings Are Not Pants" and I still might. However I don't think noncompliance of this (albeit important) rule should result in a fine of up to $5,000 and up to 5 years in jail. The thought is hysterically hilarious. Montana's Republican Rep. David Moore disagrees. On Tuesday, April 7th, Moore introduced House Bill 365 which aims to expand the already existing indecent exposure law to include any nipple exposure (men's or women's), as well any garment that "gives the appearance or simulates" a person's buttocks, genitals, pelvic area or female nipple." He goes on to say "Yoga pants should be illegal in public anyway."He is basically requesting that the "Fashion Police" be a real institution, and have life altering consequences for its offenders. I don't want to see the crevices of someone's buttocks, but it IS an American right to dress inappropriately. Which is why the bill was not passed."Butt" and however, that doesn't mean wearing those tight exercise pants in public is necessarily a great idea!VSCheck out this great article from Fashion Spot, on the Do's and Don't of such fashion attire. They have some great ideas that we can all learn from.
