Decorative Concrete Tuscan Slate Tile Design In Lillian, Alabama We completed this project a couple weeks ago for a Retired Law Enforcement Officer.They were looking for a concrete coating that is slip resistant and pleasant to look at. We suggested our Tuscan Slate Tile . We decided on a dark base coat(charcoal) for the groutlines. In their brick they had dark accents that I wanted to bring out to pull everything together. After the base coat we put down our tile design. Here we went with an 18" tile. Next comes the trowel coat! We used the color, "palomino". After we let the trowel coatset up and get good and hard, we pulled the tape. Next comes the water base concrete stain. We used various colors of desert beige and chocolate for the center and brick for the border!Finished Product!Also! As I posted in my last post we were about to have our first daughter!She came out healthy and screaming!She was born November 14th, 2012!8.8 ounces!She truly is a blessing!
