Foundry Players: Diode maker TSC to partner with UMC for SGT MOSFET chips

Diode maker Taiwan Semiconductor Company (TSC) will team up with foundry house UMC to develop and manufacture SGT (split-gate) MOSFET chips for automotive and industrial applications, according to industry sources.
