Israel is so culturally diverse...many people groups, many languages. Yet there is one unifying factor we have witnessed between them all and that is the Christ followers' passion to worship our Lord. We have been translated into Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, German, and other languages, but there is one word that is the same in all languages-"Hallelujah!" That is, "Praise the Lord." Three days ago, we left the Sea of Galilee and traveled "up to Jerusalem." The next morning spoke at Adonai Ro'l Congregation in Tel Aviv - Yaffo on Shabbat. There were a number of visitors from other countries attending. It's always fun to run into someone that knows somebody you know. That has happened a number of times since we have arrived. Yesterday we spoke at an Arab church, Jerusalem Alliance Church, located in the Old City. Amazing worship. Open hearts! Pastor Mazen is a man passionate for Christ. He invited us into his family home inside the Old City for a meal. We enjoyed a traditional Jordanian dish, Mansef (lamb, lamb yogurt, rice, onions and almonds). What a privilege. Mazen told us he received new revelation from God during the message. He wants to put together a Forgiving Forward conference next year for Arab believers in Bethlehem, joining many churches together. Lena, Bruce's translator, shared her forgiveness story with us. Her father was murdered a few years ago. In her struggle to forgive, she asked God to teach her how. He gave her a step at a time. She walked through them one by one and experienced such great freedom that she and her husband now minister to hurting people.
