From the 22 to 26 January the section dedicated to LGBT tourism will host, for its 10th year, companies, destinations, events and professionals willing to learn about new trends and business opportunities.According to the World Travel & Tourism Council, WTTC, LGBT tourism represents 10% of worldwide tourism and a travel expenditure of approximately 16%, which translates into €180 billion per year. In addition, it is estimated that around 7 million of the tourists visiting Spain per year belong to this group.FITUR Gay (LGBT +) has become a benchmark event as it is the largest of this specialised section among all international tourism fairs. FITUR Gay (LGBT+) responds to an increasing demand for destinations, companies, hotel chains, airlines and tour operators wanting to focus on the LGBT+ segment. This is a group that has a high purchasing power as it has more available income and its tourism activity is one of the less seasonal of the industry.About FITUROrganised by IFEMA, FITUR 2020 will be held from the 22 to 26 January at Feria de Madrid.
