PlayStation's Liverpool-based studio Firesprite has now issued an official statement following the layoffs several months back. Back in February of this year, Sony announced that it would be cutting 8% of its PlayStation workforce. Impacted studios included Guerrilla Games, London Studio, Insomniac, Naughty Dog, and Firesprite - the studio co-responsible for Horizon Call of the Mountain for PS VR2.
