Filmbuff: FilmBuff sells to Gunpowder & Sky

Van Toffler and Floris Bauer have been eyeing FilmBuff ever since they launched their digital studio Gunpowder & Sky around the New Year. Today they announced they finally bought the indie distributor. Under the deal, FilmBuff will be renamed Gunpowder & Sky Distribution. CEO Janet Brown will lead the division in her new position of executive vice president of distribution.
