The Oregon Health Authority turned the tables on FamilyCare Health, filing a lawsuit in U.S. District Court last week to preempt the coordinated care organization from suing the state agency once again over its funding. Ironically, OHA filed the lawsuit the day FamilyCare went out of business as a CCO. The following day, FamilyCare transferred all 115,000 Medicaid members to Health Share and two smaller CCOs.
