While there is no shortage of reputable data visualization options for tracking US COVID-19 cases, it's fairly gratifying to be able to put your own dashboard together. Google' DataStudio is a great tool for the task at hand; in this tutorial we will go through various features and controls of GDS to plot new cases, keep cumulative total, visualize 7-Day moving average, track number of deaths per capita, and interact with US map to compare situation in each of 50 states plus District of Columbia.
